10 partners at Tudor Capital Europe shared £98m last year
Hedge fund Tudor Capital Europe has just released its results for the year ending March 2022. It was a lucrative 12 months to work for the firm.
In the year to March, 10 partners at Tudor Capital Europe shared £98m ($111m), up from the £79m shared by nine partners at the firm a year before. 84 employees in the firm earned an average of £283k each over the period.
Until recently, Tudor's European business was run by Shaun King, a former head of HR who became chief executive officer in November 2016. King left the business in September 2022. Remaining partners include: James Chapman, Ben Kitchener (compliance director); Susi Gorbey (director of quant strategies); Thomas Hawkins; Richard Jackson (a former head of flow rates trading at Deutsche Bank); Suhail Jan (chief risk officer); Alister Mitchell; Abbas Siwji; and Oliver Watson.
In addition to their share of the £98m in profits, Tudor's London partners were each paid an average of £369k in salary and bonus for last year.
Turnover rose 4% to £181m in the year to March. Profits were up 24% to the £98m shared between partners.
Tudor's European arm added portfolio managers last year. Investment headcount went from 77 to 84 people. However, administrative headcount fell by two people to 36.
