Nagda joined Symmetry on March 17th according to a new filing with Companies House. He was last seen at BlueCrest in September 2025 after being appointed chief risk officer there in January 2020.
Nagda has presumably been on gardening leave. He's spent two decades working in markets roles and was previously a trader at Commerzbank and then head of rates market risk at BNP Paribas in London.
Symmetry Investments was founded by ex-Millennium portfolio managers Feng Guo and Michael Robinson in 2014. It runs systematic macro and fixed income strategies. For the year ending March 2025, Symmetry Investments UK LLP employed 28 partners in the UK, of whom the highest paid earned $55m. 133 other staff shared $62m; only 32 were in the investment team.
BlueCrest has lost other people too. Ben Souter, its head of front office technology and quant research, has gone to Brevan Howard.
