Our client is a specialist private-markets investment platform investing in infrastructure opportunities arising from digital transformation and the global energy transition.
They are seeking a senior capital-formation professional to lead institutional fundraising across Hong Kong, Greater China, and selected Asia-Pacific markets. You will own investor targeting, pipeline management, fundraising materials, conversion activity, and investor onboarding, working closely with senior investment leadership.
Responsibilities
Build and manage a focused institutional-investor target list, relationship strategy, contact plan, and probability-weighted fundraising forecast.
Lead prospective investors from introduction through diligence, subscription, and onboarding.
Own investor presentations, DDQs, RFPs, data-room content, track-record materials, Q&A, and follow-up communications.
Coordinate regional investor meetings and roadshows, ensuring senior management time is focused on priority opportunities.
Maintain accurate CRM records covering investor activity, decision timelines, next actions, blockers, referrals, and conversion metrics.
Ensure fundraising and marketing activity remains within relevant licensing, compliance, and cross-border regulatory requirements.
Support ongoing investor communications and help develop repeatable investor-coverage processes.
Requirements
10+ years' experience in private-markets fundraising, institutional sales, placement, investor relations, or alternatives distribution.
Referenceable experience personally raising capital, ideally including conversion of new or cornerstone institutional investors.
Strong product knowledge in infrastructure, private credit, structured investments, real assets, renewables, or adjacent alternative strategies.
Able to communicate investment structures, downside protections, and risk-return characteristics credibly to sophisticated institutional investors.
Established relationships across Hong Kong, Greater China, and Asia-Pacific institutional-investor markets.
Excellent English writing and presentation skills; Mandarin and/or Cantonese is advantageous.
Highly organised, commercially minded, and disciplined in CRM, DDQ, and compliance processes.
