Our culture celebrates independent thinkers and doers who positively impact our clients and shape our industry. The collaborative environment and engaging work-guided by A&M's core values of Integrity, Quality, Objectivity, Fun, Personal Reward, and Inclusive Diversity-are why our people love working at A&M.
The Team
Alvarez & Marsal's Restructuring Tax Services ("RTS") is a team of specialized tax professionals who advise debtors, creditors, and alternative parties on non-routine tax matters in bankruptcy and out-of-court restructurings. A&M's RTS practice partners with financially stressed and distressed companies, advisors, and creditors to protect and unlock tax attribute value, liquidity, and long-term enterprise value across every stage of the restructuring process.
RTS is seeking a highly motivated student, preferably with a background in accounting, finance, or other related analytical fields for a full-time internship position in our RTS practice. We are seeking a student interested in federal and state tax, and corporate consulting.
As a Restructuring Tax Services intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside professionals with the common goal of supporting businesses in preserving and creating value, impacting the world's most recognized organizations and their people.
On a typical engagement, you will be working closely with several members of the RTS team. As of day one, you will serve as a core member of the practice and the group will depend on your ability to effectively handle pressure in a fast paced, deeply collaborative team environment. Your work will directly contribute to the guidance delivered to senior management and other external parties to the restructuring process.
