I'm currently representing a highly respected specialty insurance organization seeking an experienced Excess & Surplus Production Underwriter to join their growing team.

This opportunity is ideal for a producer-minded underwriter who enjoys developing broker relationships, underwriting complex risks, and building a profitable book of business within the E&S marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Underwrite and price new and renewal E&S Property & Casualty business
✅ Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale brokers and producers
✅ Analyze complex risks and determine pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions
✅ Drive profitable new business production within an assigned territory
✅ Manage and grow an existing book while maintaining underwriting profitability
✅ Collaborate with underwriting, reinsurance, and support teams to deliver solutions

Desired Background: 🔹 5+ years of Commercial P&C underwriting experience
🔹 Must have Excess Casualty underwriting experience
🔹 E&S underwriting experience preferred
🔹 Carrier, MGA, or wholesale underwriting background welcomed
🔹 Strong production mindset and broker development experience
🔹 Excellent analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills
🔹 CPCU, ASLI, or similar designations are a plus
