Technology PMO Delivery Lead

We are looking for an experienced Technology PMO Delivery Lead to support a major technology modernisation programme within a leading Commodities Trading business.
This is a hands-on role working closely with senior technology leadership to bring structure, visibility and control across a complex portfolio of initiatives. You’ll lead programme planning and delivery, coordinate technical teams, manage dependencies and ensure key milestones, risks and issues are actively managed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery across multiple technology initiatives and workstreams.
• Own programme plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and actions.
• Coordinate technical teams across infrastructure and platform modernisation.
• Drive backlog management and prioritisation with business and technology stakeholders.
• Identify and remove delivery blockers across internal teams and third-party suppliers.
• Produce high-quality delivery reporting, governance packs and senior stakeholder updates.
• Take ownership of defined workstreams, ensuring delivery remains on track.
• Bring structure, accountability and visibility across a fast-moving technology environment.

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Delivery Lead, Programme Manager or Technical Project Manager.
• Strong experience delivering complex technology transformation or modernisation programmes.
• Excellent programme planning, delivery management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating engineering, infrastructure or wider technical teams.
• Strong understanding of scope, dependencies, risks, milestones and delivery governance.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to produce clear plans and reporting.
• Proactive, organised and comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities.
• Experience within financial services, energy/commodities trading or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
