Role Overview:

This consulting role will work across multiple customer engagements, delivering end-to-end integration solutions from design and development through to testing, deployment, and operational handover. The focus is on modern integration delivery using Microsoft Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Functions) and related Azure technologies, while maintaining awareness of hybrid integration patterns and platforms such as BizTalk Server. The successful candidate will combine strong hands-on integration engineering skills with consulting capabilities, contributing to solution architecture, delivery planning, and customer-facing engagements. Joining a collaborative team, they will have the opportunity to deepen their Azure and DevOps expertise and grow towards senior technical and architectural responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy integration solutions using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Functions) and related Azure technologies.
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust integration designs, applying appropriate integration patterns and best practices.
• Contribute to solution architecture discussions and delivery planning, providing technical input and estimates for integration workstreams.
• Implement DevOps practices for integration projects, including CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure-as-code (ARM/Bicep).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery, handover, and ongoing operability of integration solutions.
• Apply and maintain knowledge of hybrid integration approaches, including BizTalk Server or equivalent platforms, where required by customer landscapes.
• Support quality practices through unit and integration testing, use of automated testing frameworks, and adherence to governance and security standards.
• Provide guidance and informal mentoring to more junior team members as experience grows, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

About the candidate:

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience delivering integration solutions with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, API Management, Azure Functions).
• Strong foundation in integration design patterns, event-driven architecture, RESTful APIs, and JSON/XML transformation.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD (e.g. Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions), plus exposure to automated testing frameworks and mocking tools.
• Working understanding of Azure resource provisioning, ARM/Bicep templates, and cloud governance principles.
• Experience with BizTalk Server or similar enterprise integration platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, customer-facing manner and strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proactive, commercially aware, and able to work both independently and within cross-functional teams, demonstrating high ownership and attention to detail.
• Holds a 2.1 degree or above in a technical or computing discipline and is eager to grow towards senior engineering and architectural roles.
