Permanent Position Required: IT Technical Support

We are partnered with an investment bank who are looking for an IT Technical Support to provide both operational and technical support across their hardware and software core infrastructure.

This is a hugely exciting opportunity to work within a diverse IT environment to learn and develop a full range of technical assistance skills.

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + excellent benefits and bonus
Location: London
Remote/Agile working model - 3 days in office per week

As an IT Technical Support, you will:

Carry out technical support, maintenance/upgrade, and administration on all the bank's systems and interfaces
Install and configure hardware operating systems and applications both on-site and cloud
Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve any network, system and application related issues
Manage and escalate any core banking functional and system issues
Maintain hardware to ensure system and users get the maximum benefit
Support the roll out of new applications through collaborating with customers and departments across the bank
Liaise with 3rd party vendors for Business Requirements and system upgrades
Understand the network and hardware infrastructure, applications, across the bank to manage internal procedures and change management
Assist in IT and Cyber Security Manager in system vulnerability patching cycle

A successful IT Technical Support applicant will have:

Worked with Azure, VMWare, Citrix and Sharepoint
Strong experience in supporting IT Systems across an Azure or IaaS environment
Exposure and knowledge of patch management
Experience working in financial services or a desire to learn about banking
An ability to work effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment
