An excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Accounting Manager / Senior Financial Accountant to join a growing Finance team within a leading financial services organisation.
This is a broad, hands-on role covering financial accounting, financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, VAT, audit and financial controls .
Key Responsibilities- Own the month-end close and financial accounting processes.
- Manage and oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable .
- Review and control balance sheet, bank and nostro reconciliations .
- Prepare accruals, prepayments, journals and intercompany accounting .
- Support annual financial statements and financial reporting .
- Prepare VAT returns , including Partial Exemption and VAT true-ups.
- Assist with Corporation Tax and HMRC reporting.
- Coordinate external audit queries and sample testing.
- Oversee fixed assets, corporate cards, payment reconciliations and FX reporting .
- Maintain strong financial controls, procedures and reconciliations .
- Manage and develop a junior member of the Finance team.
Ideally, you will have experience in financial accounting within banking, financial services or another regulated environment , with strong knowledge of:

Experience with FloQast, Oracle or Access Dimensions would be advantageous.
ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified/part-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, alongside candidates with strong relevant experience.
