FinancialAccontant based in London. The Finance team is one of Gen Re's global teams whichspports all of the Gen Re companies in
London , inclding Faraday.




Main Prpose of the Role

l;">Working as an integral partof the London Finance Team we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedqalified accontant to join or finance team, initially focsed on themanagement of s as a Lloyd's member and the preparation of management and stattory acconts across the Faraday HoldingsGrop and sbsidiaries/branches, bt also to provide assistance with the timelyand accrate preparation of management reporting, and reglatory reportingacross the Gen Re grop companies managed by the London Finance team.




Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation of a wide range of information and reporting completed by the team.

- Prepare and sbmit accrate and compliant stattory financial statements for Faraday Holdings Grop inclding its sbsidiaries/branches entities in accordance with K GAAP, Lloyd's standards or other applicable acconting standards.

- Ensre compliance with Lloyd's reglations and governance frameworks.

- Oversee the reconciliation and management of the corporate member assets and corporate member and managing agent responsibilities to Lloyd's inclding acting as a key liaison with Lloyd's, cstodians, and internal stakeholders on fnd-related matters.

- Coordinate with external aditors, ensring accrate and timely completion of adits and resoltion of qeries.

- phold robst financial controls and contribte to continos improvement of finance processes.

- Contribte to finance transformation projects, system enhancements, and process atomation.

- Extract data from sorce systems, applying appropriate adjstments transparently and providing otpts and analysis to spport the sbmission of Information.

- Maintain and develop control checks to ensre workings are consistent and accrate with nderlying data.

- Recording and inptting financial data in SAP (GL Package).

- Ensre all information and retrns are prepared in a timely manner and complete for review.

- Remain p to date with changes in reporting regimes and assist with the implementation of sch changes.

- Liaise with both internal and external clients.

- Prepare ad-hoc additional retrns as and when reqired and involvement in ad hoc projects where necessary.

- Inaddition to the dties listed, the jobholder is reqired to perform otherreasonable dties (within the jobholders' capabilities) assigned by linemanagement.




Qalifications & Experience:



- Fll ACCA/CIMA/ACA qalification desirable bt not essential.

- Previos experience of prodcing financial statements and liaising with aditors on technical points of detail.

- Previos experience of preparing management acconts.

- Strong technical knowledge of K GAAP and acconting principles.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to maniplate data whilst paying particlar attention to detail and accracy.

- Mst be highly organized with the ability to handle mltiple priorities and operate varios applications to meet tight deadlines.

- Good written and verbal commnication skills.

- Ability to work in a team environment. Approachable and able to convey information, ideas and viewpoints in an appropriate manner.

- Self-motivated and willing to learn.
