About the Position

We are looking for an experienced natural gas analyst/trader to help our team develop our existing fundamental-driven trading. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing deep insight into the European and/or Global gas market, driving and owning modelling and associated trading strategy. The role sits within the global Commodity team, which covers a wide range of products and strategy types within Jane Street's core quantitative trading strategy.

The right person will have a strong fundamental background in natural gas and enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
About You

• 3+ years of professional experience in analyzing European natural gas fundamentals
• Exposure to building part or all of the Global LNG S&D balance is a plus
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Experience with oil or gas physical markets is beneficial
• Proficiency in statistics
• Coding skills are a plus
• Fluency in English required
