Key responsibilities?

As the Senior Manager Marketing & External Communication, you will lead the development and delivery of effective marketing and external communications strategies across Singapore and Hong Kong. You will act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, support commercial outcomes and help strengthen the Liberty brand across key markets. Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Build and execute the (SG/HK) marketing strategy and budget and be the marketing and external communications primary point of contact and subject matter expert for this market.
• Lead the team to plan, implement and measure local and regional marketing campaigns and activity across channels that meets business goals and outcomes and attracts new customers and penetrates new markets.
• Lead and enhance brand and marketing effectiveness by identifying trends, insights and potential issues
• Seek out insights from the market, competitor intelligence and research (existing and new) to support advocacy and retention, and act as the foundation for the marketing program of work.
• Manage media relations and proactively build and protect the organisation's corporate reputation, as well as raising awareness of its products and initiatives
• Ensure ROI on marketing and commercial communication programs, key stakeholders are actively engaged, and investment contributes to and supports key business strategy.
• Develop and utilise customer segmentation, identify key audiences and develop strategies to target and use in marketing and commercial communications activity.
• Accountable for effective planning and execution of events to drive loyalty and retention
• Develop advertising and promotion to support our brand leading position and engage effectively with target audiences.
• Manage the development and delivery of brand tools for staff and agents, channel facing collateral for sales networks
• Champion technology, with a particular focus on exploring AI tools that can deliver speed and efficiency, enabling Liberty to more effectively reach key markets. This includes tools that can support copywriting, design and asset resizing.

About you

• Demonstrated capability in managing marketing projects and people within a marketing department or agency environment.
• Demonstrated experience in media relations, including developing media strategies, building strong journalist relationships and managing proactive and reactive media engagement.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience developing and delivering marketing, brand and external communications strategies.
• Proficiency with marketing technologies and platforms, including website content management systems, design software and email automation platforms.
• A genuine interest in adopting new technologies, including AI tools for content, design and efficiency.
• Strong team leadership, coaching and people management capability.
• Excellent self-management, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, decision-making and influencing skills, supported by sound judgement.
• Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with internal clients, external agencies and other stakeholders.
