Role Summary
This is an important position within a private investment office based in Singapore, designed for a Research and Support Executive to support investment and property management activities. The position is suited to an analytically curious, well-organised, detailed oriented and independent individual. Discretion and confidentiality are non-negotiables of the position. Suited for an independent worker who is focused, a team player and good in time management.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Research:
• Source, compile, and organise primary research materials including regulatory filings, annual reports, earnings transcripts, industry reports, and broker research to support comprehensive investment analysis
• Monitor news flow, market developments, and key industry reports relevant to the investment portfolio
• Utilise AI tools to generate research reports and analyses on companies, industries, and sectors within the family office's investment framework
• Review and validate AI-generated outputs by verifying facts, identifying inaccuracies, and ensuring research quality and reliability
• Maintain earnings calendars, monitor regulatory filings and company announcements, and update workflows as required
• Summarise research findings and prepare briefing materials for investment committee meetings
Property Portfolio and Administration:
• Support ongoing management and maintenance of a physical property portfolio
• Liaise with contractors, property agents, and service providers to coordinate maintenance and resolve operational issues
• Review tenancy agreements and related documentation, and issue invoices where required
• Conduct site visits and property inspections, documenting findings and follow-up action items
• Maintain comprehensive records on shared systems for regular reviews and team updates
Required Qualifications
• Proficiency in Excel
• Comfortable reading financial accounts with background in finance or quantitative disciplines
• Strong written and spoken communication skills with excellent comprehension
• Analytical mindset, well-organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
• Willingness to learn on the job and contribute to team objectives
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Bloomberg or similar research platforms
• Experience using AI tools and evaluating their outputs critically
Work Arrangement
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Singapore with a hybrid arrangement combining in-person and remote work days. The role is available for immediate start or by mutual agreement.
