Head of Risk, Asia

The role will be responsible for managing their risk assessment and risk profiling activity in Asia, to ensure that they have identified, assessed and are monitoring the key business risks that affect the Company’s legal entities, offices and functional processes in Asia.  The incumbent will work with senior management in the region to advice on appropriate risk mitigations.  The role will also include developing their risk governance framework, risk reporting and escalation.

To succeed in this role, you will require the following demonstrable skills and attributes:

• Minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience in risk management in both Investment and Operational Risk.
• University degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Preferably familiar with the Investment Management industry.
• Well versed with regulatory risk environment.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Professional accreditation such as CFA, FRM, or PRM preferred.
