Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and manage commodity derivative trades across selected commodities markets, with a focus on maximizing profit and managing risk.
- Analyse market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical factors to make informed trading decisions and develop effective trading strategies.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of risk allocation and management, ensuring compliance with the firm's risk parameters and guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with the research and analytics teams to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities within the commodity derivatives market.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market regulations and industry best practices, adhering to compliance standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years trading experience in a financial / derivatives trading role
- Successful PnL track record
- Demonstrable repeatable investment process
- Strong understanding in the fundamentals of the associated markets
- Able to articulate trade ideas / overall strategy in a considered manner
- Highly numerical, preferably with some basic ideas in statistics and probabilities.
- Self-disciplined, highly motivated and proactive.
