The client is seeking experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within the High-Net-Worth (HNW) intermediary channel. You will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with HNW insurance brokers, wealth advisory firms, private banks, family offices, and key distribution partners to grow new business and market share.
This role requires a strong understanding of HNW insurance solutions, intermediary distribution, relationship management, and business development within the life insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute distribution strategies to grow premium production through HNW insurance brokers and strategic intermediary partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with broker principals, advisers, case managers, and key decision-makers.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the insurer's presence within the HNW and affluent client segment.
- Conduct regular broker visits, business reviews, product presentations, and training sessions.
- Drive awareness and adoption of life insurance, wealth preservation, legacy planning, and protection solutions.
- Partner closely with underwriting, operations, product, and case management teams to deliver exceptional service to intermediaries.
- Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and feedback on broker needs and emerging opportunities.
- Support complex case discussions and work alongside brokers to structure suitable solutions for HNW clients.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and production metrics against agreed targets.
- Ensure all business activities comply with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in life insurance distribution, broker relationship management, business development, or intermediary sales.
- Good understanding of life insurance, wealth planning and estate planning.
- Proven track record of achieving sales, distribution, or business development targets.
- Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
