Job Responsibilities
As an Associate of the Legal Team, you will play an important role in supporting a wide range of legal and compliance matters across the organization. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with in-house counsels, internal teams, and external counterparts to help ensure the business operates in a legally compliant and effective manner.

• Support in-house counsels in reviewing and responding to new laws and regulatory developments to ensure compliance across daily operations.
• Monitor legal and regulatory changes issued by local authorities, and provide timely updates and reports to supervisors and management.
• Support other departments by providing legal advice and assisting in legal task forces and projects.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address legal and compliance issues effectively.
• Implement and monitor compliance action programs, including 1)Legal and compliance checks; and 2)Training programs for staff on legal and compliance matters.

Job Requirements
Requirements:

• Bachelor's in law.
• More than 4 years of experience in the banking sector or a law firm is an advantage.
• Qualification as an attorney-at-law is an advantage.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken; Japanese language skill is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and reporting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A strong sense of teamwork, responsibility, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
