OVERVIEW OF DEPARTMENT
JAPANESE CORPORATE BANKING SUPPORTS CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT BY STREAMLINING OPERATIONS, ENHANCING EFFICIENCY, AND DRIVING BUSINESS GROWTH. THE TEAM PLAYS A KEY ROLE IN CREDIT APPRAISAL, DOCUMENTATION, REPORTING, AND COMPLIANCE, ENSURING ACCURATE CREDIT ASSESSMENT, TIMELY EXECUTION, AND EFFECTIVE COORDINATION WITH INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS TO SUPPORT SUSTAINABLE GROWTH AND DELIVER EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.


Job Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers (RMs) in managing corporate clients, with a focus on client onboarding, transaction processing, and administrative coordination.
• Coordinate facility documentation negotiations by securing the necessary internal approvals and maintaining timely communication with clients.
• Contribute to marketing activities, including client meetings, project work, credit-related tasks, and other assignments delegated by RMs from time to time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Department Head.

Job Requirements

• Bring 5 years of experience in the banking industry; prior experience as a Senior ARM at an international bank is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of banking systems, regulations, documentation, and products.
• Credit-related experience and knowledge, which will be considered a strong advantage.
• Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
• Japanese language proficiency would be an advantage.
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and a high sense of responsibility.
• Effective coordination across clients, product lines, risk functions, and other business units while maintaining strong working relationships.
• Ability to work independently, perform effectively under pressure, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines and priorities.
