Singapore Administration Department - Corporate Planning & Coordination
Overview of Division/Department
The Corporate Planning and Coordination (CPC) team is responsible for corporate planning, governance and business coordination function of Singapore Administration Department as well as Mizuho Bank Singapore. The team works closely with various stakeholders in setting and monitoring of KPIs, Cost monitoring / control and Structure Cost Reform, managerial accounting (regional profit adjustment etc.) and budget plan/control.

Job Responsibilities
Managerial Accounting
Perform Profit / Asset adjustments
- Data retrieval and data mining of customer transactions from the system
- Make necessary adjustment to respective transaction
- Communicating with multiple counterparts in overseas branches as well Head Office
- Perform investigations and reconciliations
Reporting
Prepare Reports for Funded Asset / Deposit Monitoring
- Data retrieval from the system and Data mining to prepare the report
- Update Data Chart to show Asset / Deposit movement for the Monthly Committee meeting
- Present report at the monthly Committee meeting
Assist Budget / Expense / KPI monitoring
- Data mining by retrieving expense data from the system
- Create / update dashboard to monitor the expense by account by department
- Provide critical assessment of all budget and cost projections against budget
- Monitor and control expense on specific account to make sure that expenditure is made based on required approval process and utilized accordingly
- Provide various planning and cost controlling support to ensure the spending is optimized within the given budget
Governance and Change Management
- Support the team in supplier selection requirements and ongoing procurement governance
- Other adhoc project management offices support activities
Job Requirements
Qualification:
- A bachelor's degree / Diploma (preferably but not limited to major in Information Technology, Engineering, Accounting, Finance)
- Proficient in MS Excel / Access is essential
- Knowledge of Macro is strongly advantageous
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated
- Work effectively in team setting
- Ability to work under pressure while highly focused, able to rapidly identify key priorities
