PURPOSE OF JOB
The Assistant Manager will support theday-to-day management of the Banking & Treasury operations in Poland,overseeing the execution of operational banking activities and ensuringworkflows are prioritised effectively so transactions are processed accuratelyand within bank deadlines.
The Assistant Manager will support the management of the Banking and Treasury operations team in Poland, overseeing daily operational workflows and ensuring transactions are processed accurately, within bank deadlines and in line with internal procedures.
The role combines operational deliverywith team supervision, ensuring operational processes are followed consistentlywhile supporting the Manager in maintaining service levels and operationalcontrols.

The Assistant Manager will support the management of the Banking and Treasury operations team in Poland, overseeing daily operational workflows and ensuring transactions are processed accurately, within bank deadlines and in line with internal procedures.
The role combines operational deliverywith team supervision, ensuring operational processes are followed consistentlywhile supporting the Manager in maintaining service levels and operationalcontrols.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Support the Manager in the day-to-day supervision of the Banking and Treasury Operations team in Poland.
- Oversee daily operational workflows ensuring transactions are prioritised and processed within bank cut-off times.
- Execute and review payments, foreign exchange transactions, fixed deposits and related banking activities.
- Ensure operational processes and procedures are followed consistently in line with the Banking & Treasury operations framework and internal policies.
- Act as a first escalation point for operational queries and issues arising from daily transaction processing.
- Act as an authorised signatory for payments, foreign exchange transactions, fixed deposits and receipts in accordance with internal approval procedures.
- Ensure reconciliations, monitoring reports and operational controls are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes
- Provide guidance, coaching and support to team members to ensure consistent operational delivery.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal teams and banking partners.
- Identify operational issues and escalate risks or control concerns to the Manager.
- Adhere to Risk and Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
- Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and internal procedures.
- Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by management.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Experience within banking operations, treasury operations or payment environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of payments, FX transactions and fixed deposit administration.
- Experience supervising or managing operational teams.
- Understanding of operational risk, controls and governance.
- Ability to manage high-volume workflows within deadline driven environments.
- Strong organisational, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
