We're looking for a Portfolio Management Oversight Analyst in Poland to:
• Take ownership of the monitoring, analysis and resolution of investment restriction breaches and related queries across a diverse range of investment funds, working closely with Portfolio Managers, Central Admins, Depositaries and other parties to ensure timely and effective remediation.
• Assess root causes, identify trends and contribute to the continuous enhancement of investment compliance controls.
• Support the ongoing oversight of delegated Portfolio Managers and their investment management activities.
• Prepare high-quality analyses, management information and reporting related to investment restrictions, risk indicators and oversight activities.
• Participate in service review meetings with delegated Portfolio Managers and contribute to discussions around investment compliance and service quality.
• Support onboarding of new Portfolio Managers and implementation of new investment mandates, products and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, process improvements and regulatory projects within the Portfolio Management Oversight function.

Your team

You'll be working in the Portfolio Management Oversight (PMO) team, part of UBS Asset Management (Europe) S.A. Branch in Poland.
Our primary mission is to ensure that delegated Portfolio Managers manage funds in accordance with investment mandates, regulatory requirements and internal governance standards. As an independent oversight function, we work closely with internal and external parties to safeguard investment compliance and support effective fund governance.
The team is based in Krakow and supports Management Companies located in Luxembourg and Switzerland. We oversee delegated Portfolio Managers, monitor investment restrictions, review risk indicators, produce management reporting and contribute to the continuous enhancement of our oversight framework.
This role offers unique exposure to international asset management, fund governance and investment oversight, providing an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in investment compliance and portfolio management oversight.
You will report directly to the local Team Lead and work closely with colleagues across UBS as well as external stakeholders located in multiple jurisdictions.

Your expertise

We're looking for someone who is:

• experienced in the investment fund industry, ideally within investment restrictions, fund compliance, risk management, oversight or a Management Company environment
• curious about how investment portfolios are managed and how investment rules are implemented in practice
• capable of analyzing complex situations and driving issues through to resolution
• proactive, accountable and comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders across different locations and seniority levels
• highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• a strong communicator with excellent written and verbal English skills, other languages will be an asset
• proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• educated to degree level in Finance, Economics, Business, Law or a related discipline
• you're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.

• Additional advantages:

• previous experience with investment restrictions monitoring or fund compliance
• understanding of UCITS, AIFMD or asset management regulatory frameworks
