A bit about the job
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Development & Assurance, you'll provide leadership across Aviva Ireland's pensions governance framework, ensuring effective oversight, regulatory compliance and alignment with business objectives.
Working closely with senior leaders, trustees and regulators, you'll lead strategic regulatory engagement, oversee governance and risk frameworks, and help drive strong customer and business outcomes across the pensions value chain.
This is a highly visible role with significant influence, offering the opportunity to shape the future direction of pensions governance within one of Ireland's leading financial services organisations.
Skills and experience we're looking for
- Significant senior leadership experience within pensions, governance, risk, regulatory affairs or a similarly regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of pensions regulation and governance frameworks, with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead strategic initiatives across multiple business areas.
- Experience overseeing complex risk, control and governance frameworks while balancing regulatory and commercial priorities.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the credibility to engage effectively with executive leaders, trustees and regulators.
