Assistant Vice President - Transfer Agency

Role Summary: • The Transfer Agency AVP is responsible for overseeing the team and day-to-day operations. • This includes managing of team members, checking all transactions and payments, liaising with clients, investors and internal teams. Has full oversight of key control functions, involved in project and change management and is point of escalation. • They must enforce Internal Transfer Agency procedures in addition to both internal and Regulatory requirements at all times

Assistant Vice President - Transfer Agency

Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Accountable for management of team and development of staff
  • Ensure team operates within a clearly defined, documented and tested control environment
  • Manage operational processes and deliveries for allocated clients from pre-launch to liquidation
  • Responsible for all aspects of investor transaction processing, reporting and dealing with ad hoc client requests
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally
  • Identify areas for improvement in processes, personnel, structure and discuss with your VP
  • Implement procedural changes to enhance the ongoing performance of the team and department
  • Manage multiple client relationships ensuring constant liaison with both the client and the relevant RM and TA VP ensuring consistency and clarity of service
  • Ensuring that all AML and FATCA /CRS requirements are adhered to
  • Create and foster an environment where procedures, policies and processes are adhered to
  • Actively participate in planning Key Performance Indicators for the team and manage the appraisal process  
  • Participate in projects as directed by senior management
  • Full oversight and review of board reports and confident in presenting when required
  • Be available for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for implementation and upgrade of systems
  • Work closely with on-boarding team for new launches
  • Ensure timecard and capacity analysis are completed accurately
  • Driving a solution focussed team and encouraging a positive working environment
  • Exercise operational oversight within the team and make sound operational decisions
  • Create an environment that is flexible, adaptable and be a champion of change
  • Initiate and oversee tasks within a continuous improvement drive to ensure that the organisation is efficient and seen as client and quality driven
