A leading Regional bank is seeking a Vice President of Treasury Operations to lead a team in managing middle- and back-office treasury processes . This role focuses on overseeing settlements, mitigating operational risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving seamless transaction execution .

A leading Regional bank is seeking a Vice President of Treasury Operations to lead a team in managing middle- and back-office treasury processes . This role focuses on overseeing settlements, mitigating operational risk, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving seamless transaction execution .
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise and direct the operations team across products including Money Market, FX, Securities, Bonds, and FRCD issuance .
- Risk & Settlement Oversight: Monitor settlement risks, resolve irregular transactions, and enforce adherence to internal policies and bank guidelines .
- Regulatory & Executive Reporting: Prepare and compile operational reports for senior management, Head Office, and regulatory bodies .
- Policy & Governance: Continuously review and update policy and procedure manuals to comply with evolving regulatory standards .
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and regional branches to facilitate accurate settlements .
- Projects & Ad-Hoc Tasks: Lead assigned operational projects and ad-hoc duties as required .
- Experience: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years in treasury operations, including at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role .
- Product & Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of treasury products, global settlement standards, and clearing infrastructure (e.g., SWIFT, CHATS, CMU) .
- Regulatory Acumen: Solid background in banking operations and regulatory compliance requirements .
- Leadership & Communication: Proven team-building, coaching, and interpersonal skills .
- Language Skills: Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese .
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office; exposure to VBA, Excel Macros, or Alteryx is an advantage .
