Role Overview

We are seeking a Security Engineer to join a high-performing security team responsible for protecting enterprise infrastructure, cloud environments, and critical business applications. The successful candidate will work closely with infrastructure, development, and operations teams to design, implement, and enhance security controls across a complex technology landscape.


Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise security solutions across on-premise and cloud environments.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents and potential threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation efforts.
• Improve threat detection and security monitoring capabilities.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to embed security best practices.
• Support identity and access management initiatives.
• Develop security automation and tooling to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in security architecture reviews and risk assessments.

Key Requirements

• Experience in Security Engineering, Cyber Security, Infrastructure Security, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Experience with network security principles, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts within AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of vulnerability management and incident response processes.
• Strong scripting or programming skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and identity management concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience securing large-scale, low-latency, or highly available environments.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GSEC, GIAC, OSCP, Security+, or Azure/AWS Security certifications.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD security.
• Experience with endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance frameworks within financial services.
