Our client is embarking on a multi-year private cloud migration programme. They are seeking a Private Cloud Engineer to support evaluating options, engaging vendors, and contributing to design decisions for the future-state platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and operate private cloud environments as part of a major migration programme.
Evaluating private cloud platforms engaging vendors, and contributing to design decisions.
Apply DevOps tools and automation practices to cloud operations.
Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to define requirements and evaluate solutions.
Contribute to the design of the future-state private cloud platform
Document findings, produce reports, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

Experience: At least 4 years of cloud experience, with a strong focus on private cloud environments.
Private Cloud Engineering: Proven experience designing, building, and operating private cloud environments.
VMware Expertiese: Exposure to VMware environments and migration/exit programmes - understanding the challenges of moving off VMware..
DevOps & Automation: Knowledge of DevOps tools and automation practices.
Languages: Good communicaiton in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Vendor Management: Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills
Chinese Cloud- Any Chinese Cloud knowledge would be an advantage
