Our client, a leading global investment bank, is seeking experienced Middle Office professionals to join its Prime Services team at Assistant Vice President level.

This role offers opportunities across two specialist product areas:

Equity Financing Middle Office (1 Headcount)

1. Securities Lending & Borrowing (SBL)
2. Equity Financing
3. Secured Funding
4. Collateral Management

Prime Synthetics Middle Office (1 Headcount)

1. Equity Swaps
2. Synthetic Prime Brokerage
3. ETFs
4. Equity Derivatives

Successful candidates will work closely with Front Office Trading, Sales, Risk, Technology and Operations teams to support daily business activities, strengthen operational controls, manage risk and drive strategic business initiatives across the APAC region.

1. Provide day-to-day middle office support across Prime Services products.
2. Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
3. Investigate and resolve trade exceptions, reconciliation breaks, settlement issues and operational discrepancies.
4. Partner closely with Trading and Sales teams to support business activities and deliver high levels of service.
5. Monitor operational risks and ensure adherence to established controls, policies and procedures.
6. Support collateral, financing and funding activities where applicable.
7. Produce management reporting, operational metrics and business analysis.
8. Drive process enhancements and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
9. Participate in business transformation, strategic change and regulatory initiatives.
10. Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to ensure operational consistency and best practices.
11. Support junior team members and contribute to team development initiatives.

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience within:
3. Prime Brokerage
4. Prime Services
5. Equity Financing
6. Securities Lending & Borrowing
7. Prime Synthetics
8. Equity Derivatives Operations
9. Middle Office Operations
10. Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management and operational controls.
11. Experience supporting one or more of the following products:
12. Securities Lending & Borrowing (SBL)
13. Equity Financing
14. Equity Swaps
15. ETFs
16. Synthetic Financing Products
17. Equity Derivatives
18. Sound knowledge of Asia financial markets.
19. Experience partnering with Front Office stakeholders, including Trading and Sales desks.
20. Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
21. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
22. Exposure to Prime Brokerage, Prime Services or Delta One businesses.
23. Experience supporting collateral management, financing or funding-related activities.
24. Proven track record in process improvement, automation or operational transformation initiatives.
