This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in the growth of a venture capital platform. You will lead efforts to identify, engage, and secure capital commitments from family offices, wealth managers, and small to mid-sized institutional investors.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven ability to build investor relationships, articulate investment strategies, and successfully raise capital within the private markets ecosystem. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the firm's fundraising objectives and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead fundraising initiatives for the firm's venture capital funds and co-investment opportunities.
2. Originate, develop, and maintain relationships with family offices, foundations, endowments, fund-of-funds, wealth managers, and smaller institutional investors.
3. Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective investors.
4. Conduct investor meetings, presentations, and due diligence discussions.
5. Clearly articulate the firm's investment strategy, portfolio performance, and market outlook to prospective and existing investors.
6. Coordinate fundraising materials including pitch decks, DDQs, fund presentations, and quarterly investor reports.
7. Partner closely with investment professionals to communicate portfolio developments and fundraising narratives.
8. Track fundraising progress and investor activity through CRM systems.
9. Support investor onboarding, subscription processes, and ongoing LP engagement.

Qualifications

1. 10+ years of experience in investor relations, fundraising, institutional sales, private markets distribution, or capital raising.
2. Demonstrated ability to raise capital from family offices, UHNW individuals, wealth platforms, or institutional investors.
3. Existing network within the family office and private capital ecosystem preferred.
4. Strong understanding of venture capital, private equity, or alternative investments.
5. Excellent presentation, relationship management, and communication skills.
6. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently originate and cultivate investor relationships.
7. Track record of successfully securing LP commitments from family offices and emerging institutional investors.
8. Comfortable operating in a fast-growing and entrepreneurial investment platform.
