You will be part of the Wealth Management business, supporting investment suitability controls and helping to ensure client interactions and investment activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Your new role
- Review investment suitability cases to ensure client disclosures and regulatory requirements are properly met.
- Assess client communications, including emails, call notes, and supporting documentation, to identify potential control gaps and risks.
- Investigate suitability-related exceptions and determine whether escalation or remediation is required.
- Partner with Front Office, Compliance, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance control effectiveness.
- Contribute to strengthening the overall risk and control framework within the business.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Risk, Compliance, Business Risk, Audit, or a related function within banking, financial services, or an audit firm.
- Investment Suitability exposure is required; hands-on experience in suitability reviews, assessments, or controls would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements and suitability controls.
- Ability to review cases, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate actions.
- Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
