Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder discussions.
- Analyse end‑to‑end business processes and payment flows; define as‑is / to‑be processes and identify gaps.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data mappings.
- Act as the key liaison between Business, Operations, Compliance, and IT throughout the SDLC.
- Support solution design by clarifying requirements and working closely with architects, developers, and vendors.
- Prepare and execute test scenarios and test cases; support and perform SIT, UAT, regression, and end‑to‑end testing.
- Manage defects, issues, and change requests, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder alignment.
- Facilitate requirement walkthroughs, solution reviews, and sign‑off sessions.
- Maintain complete project documentation and develop operating procedures and user training materials.
- Deliver training, provide post‑implementation / hypercare support, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Track and follow up on risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions impacting delivery.
Requirements
- Degree holder, preferably in Information Technology, Business, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5-8 years of hands‑on experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services projects.
- Strong exposure to banking operations and payment/remittance project, preferably in global or regional payment environments.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, with experience in requirements management, process mapping, and system implementation.
- Hands‑on experience supporting testing activities including test case preparation and UAT execution.
- Familiarity with core banking or payment platforms (e.g. T24) is an advantage.
- Good understanding of system integration concepts, data flows, and IT architecture.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese proficiency required.
- Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
