Job description
Ant International is a leading global digital payment and financial technology provider, enabling trusted cross-border commerce and financial connectivity.
The Chief System Assurance Officer (CSAO) organization is responsible for establishing a Global Sovereign System Assurance Framework, ensuring that Ant International's cross-border payment systems are intrinsically Visible, Controllable, Verifiable, Auditable, and Sustainable.
Senior System Assurance Expert - Verifiability will lead to design, develop, and operate AI agents that continuously establish, validate, and demonstrate cryptographic trust across Ant International's global payment infrastructure.
This role is responsible for building AI-powered assurance capabilities that automatically verify system integrity, cryptographic controls, trusted execution, and regulatory evidence, ensuring cross-border payment systems are Visible, Controllable, Verifiable, Auditable, and Sustainable (VCVAS).
Rather than relying on periodic audits and manual evidence collection, this role develops intelligent AI agents that continuously generate mathematically verifiable proof of compliance, integrity, and trust.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop AI agents that automate cryptographic assurance and proof-based compliance.
• Build AI-native verification engines that continuously validate system integrity, cryptographic controls, and trusted execution.
• Develop AI agents that automatically generate regulator-ready cryptographic evidence and tamper-proof audit artifacts.
• Build intelligent workflows that continuously verify data integrity throughout the complete transaction lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Cryptography, Security Engineering, Platform Engineering, AI Engineering, Infrastructure, and CSAO teams to embed AI-powered verifiability into system architecture.
• Integrate cryptographic assurance into the Solix Trust Platform and Iceberg Assurance Framework.
• Contribute to the evolution of AI-native, proof-based System Assurance for sovereign financial infrastructure.
Key Deliverables
Within the first 12 months, the successful candidate should help deliver AI agents capable of:
• Continuously validating cryptographic controls and trusted execution across global payment systems.
• Automatically generating cryptographically verifiable, regulator-ready audit evidence.
• Detecting integrity violations and initiating AI-assisted remediation.
• Providing end-to-end transaction integrity verification throughout the payment lifecycle.
• Supporting confidential computing and trusted execution assurance across sovereign cloud environments.
• Improving AI-driven trust assurance while reducing manual audit and compliance effort.
• Advancing the CSAO vision of Visible, Controllable, Verifiable, Auditable, and Sustainable (VCVAS) financial infrastructure.
Job Requirement
Qualifications & Experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Cryptography, Cybersecurity, AI, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in cryptography, security engineering, AI engineering, distributed systems, or infrastructure security.
• Hands-on experience with Python, cryptographic libraries, Kubernetes, cloud-native security, Confidential Computing, and secure software development.
• Experience in financial systems, payment platforms, blockchain, or high-assurance infrastructure is preferred.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF 2.0, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, DORA, GDPR, and the EU AI Act is a plus.
Required Qualifications & Experience
AI Agent Engineering & Security: Experience building AI agents, LLM applications, or autonomous workflows for cybersecurity, cryptography, or infrastructure assurance.
• Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI Agents SDK).
• Experience with RAG, MCP, multi-agent systems, and AI-native security architecture.
Cryptography & Security Architecture
• Strong expertise in encryption, KMS, HSM, PKI, secure communication protocols, and key lifecycle management.
• Experience designing cryptographic architectures for sovereign cloud, digital payments, or regulated financial systems.
Verifiable Trust & Compliance
• Experience building AI-driven verification systems using tamper-evident audit logs, digital signatures, immutable ledgers, and automated evidence generation.
• Familiarity with Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) or other cryptographic proof systems and continuous compliance frameworks.
Secure Compute & Integrity
• Experience with Confidential Computing, Trusted Execution Environments (TEE), Remote Attestation, and secure enclaves.
• Ability to design systems that continuously verify data, system, and transaction integrity with end-to-end traceability in distributed, cloud-native environments.
AI Security & Future-Ready Cryptography
• Strong understanding of AI security, model integrity, governance, adversarial attack detection, and secure AI deployment.
• Knowledge of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), cryptographic agility, and future-ready security architectures for regulated environments.
Leadership & Personal Attributes
