My client is a fully-licensed Asset Management firm with established operations in Hong Kong. The senior management of the company is a big pusher of innovative technologies and is always looking to improve the efficiencies across the front-to-back office teams.

This is a strategic hire and hands-on leadership role reporting into the COO of the company. We are looking for candidates with 6 to 10 years of experience in digital transformation, AI enablement, or technology implementation, preferably within financial services or regulated industries. The successful candidate will lead the firm's AI transformation agenda while maintaining the highest standards of governance, cybersecurity, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance when handling investor data, sensitive business information, and material non-public information.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the firm's AI transformation agenda from strategy through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
2. Identify, prioritize, and deliver AI use cases across investments, operations, compliance, and corporate functions.
3. Drive change management, user training, and stakeholder engagement to embed AI into day-to-day workflows.
4. Own AI governance, usage standards, risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
5. Configure, administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI, automation platforms, and related technologies.
6. Lead technology platform transitions and manage relationships with vendors, consultants, and service providers.
7. Establish success metrics and accountability frameworks, tracking adoption, productivity gains, risk controls, and business value realization across AI initiatives.
8. Ensure AI solutions are deployed securely and responsibly, with appropriate safeguards for investor information, confidential data, and material non-public information.

Requirements

1. 6-10 years of experience in digital transformation, AI enablement, technology implementation, or related leadership roles.
2. Proven track record of driving organizational change, technology adoption, and measurable business outcomes.
3. Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI, automation, and cloud technologies.
4. Strong understanding of AI governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and technology risk management.
5. Experience working in regulated financial services environments, preferably asset management or investment management.
6. Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management and communication skills, coupled with the ability to execute hands-on in a lean organization.
