Job Description

The job responsibilities are structured in detail as follows:

• Management of modern IT systems, troubleshooting and resolution of malfunctions;
• Analysis and resolution of system errors during operation (L1 & L2 support);
• Further development and implementation of the IT infrastructure;
• Monitoring of the IT infrastructure Installation and independent commissioning of infrastructure systems as well as their documentation and preparation for operation;
• Ensuring the operation of hardware and software applications, including manual and automatic updates;
• User management for special applications Asset and infrastructure management: Ensuring the current data inventory for the installed hardware, software, licenses and maintenance contracts Communication with customers and subcontractors regarding operational service aspects and incident management;

Qualifications

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

• Master's / Diploma degree program in Computer science / Business informatics;
• Professional IT experience with network servers and operating systems is desirable;
• Knowledge of switching operation and configuration is required;
• CCNA certifications are advantageous;
• IT knowledge of Windows and Linux infrastructure is required;
• Virtualization knowledge is advantageous;
• Fluency in English & German is a must C1 level and above;
