Fraud Manager / Consultant

4-month initial Contract - Remote - Immediate Start

We are supporting a leading global fintech with the urgent engagement of a Fraud Manager/Consultant to support a critical workstream within its French-side financial crime function.

The role will support the French business entity, with candidates able to be based remotely in either France or the UK.

Sitting within fraud risk management, this role will focus on strengthening fraud prevention, internal controls and audit remediation activity at pace, as part of a wider push to bring the function up to a consistently high standard.

The Role

You will work as part of the fraud team, partnering closely with risk, operations and audit stakeholders to deliver against a demanding timeline.

Key responsibilities will include:

1. Support and strengthen fraud risk management frameworks and fraud prevention controls
2. Review and enhance transaction monitoring processes from a fraud perspective
3. Monitor and improve operational performance across fraud detection and response
4. Lead or support internal investigations and control reviews
5. Implement internal audit recommendations, ensuring actions are closed out and evidenced
6. Identify process or control gaps and recommend improvements to reduce fraud exposure

You will ideally bring:

1. Proven experience in fraud risk management within financial services or fintech
2. Hands-on experience with fraud transaction monitoring and prevention
3. Experience leading or supporting internal investigations and control reviews
4. Track record of implementing internal audit recommendations
5. French regulatory/business experience would be highly relevant
6. Immediately available or on short notice
