This involves investigating and developing disruptive technologies, reducing the carbon footprint of steel, and optimizing costs while maintaining uncompromising quality. Global R&D 'Internal Digitalization and IT' is a transversal team in charge of defining, promoting and deploying Internal Digital and IT solutions, infrastructures and policies.

Your role

As Global R&D CISO, you will define and drive the cybersecurity strategy for our worldwide research organization. You will turn Group and Global R&D policies into measurable results, lead risk quantification and audit remediation, strengthen Cloud/Identity/Data security foundations, enhance Incident & Crisis readiness, and embed AI/GenAI security in partnership with the Group CISO, Global Assurance, and local security teams.

You will protect the core of our innovation engine-research environments, prototypes, IP, data, and engineering platforms-while enabling fast, secure development. This role is ideal for a rising security leader ready for their first executive step, bringing strong experience in security governance, engineering security, and cloud/data protection.

Your strategic mission: ensure Global R&D remains the Group's reference for data security and AI lifecycle security-across design, development, deployment, monitoring, incident response, and retirement-through robust governance of models, data, access, and compliance.

Your profile

• Master's degree in an IT-related field.
• Proven CISO-level expertise securing R&D environments, including IP, data, AI/ML, DevSecOps, cloud platforms, and laboratories.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk management, audit leadership, and crisis management.

Key Expertise

• Security Strategy & Governance: Security roadmaps, secure-by-design practices, and enterprise security programs.
• IP & Engineering Security: IP protection, Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, supply-chain security, and AI/ML governance.
• Cloud & Lab Security: Segmentation, identity management, MFA, encryption, and monitoring.
• Audit & Compliance: Leading audits and ensuring regulatory readiness.
• Incident & Risk Management: Structured risk governance and coordination with Group Security teams.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Strong collaboration with IT, Legal/IP, external partners, and Security Champions networks.

Knowledge & Qualifications

• Security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST CSF, FAIR, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Technologies: Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SentinelOne, Darktrace, Varonis, Purview, PingCastle.
• Compliance and crisis management: GDPR, NIS2, AI Act, incident response, and audit programs.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ISO 27001 LI/LA, or CCSP.
• Strong understanding of AI security, including secure GenAI usage, data protection, and model governance.

Personal Skills

• Clear, structured, and evidence-driven communicator.
• Comfortable operating in a global and highly collaborative environment.
• Fluent in English and French.
