Your new role
Reporting directly to the COO, you will lead customer operations across both Australia and offshore teams, ensuring strong performance, exceptional customer outcomes and operational excellence throughout the lending lifecycle.This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with experience in consumer lending environments, particularly across personal lending, asset finance and regulated credit products.
In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop onshore and offshore operations teams
• Drive customer servicing, portfolio performance and operational outcomes
• Coach, mentor and support leaders and team members across multiple locations
• Partner closely with stakeholders across lending, compliance and product functions
• Manage customer escalations, complaints and operational risk matters
• Monitor operational KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
• Review and enhance processes, controls and service standards
• Support the continued growth and scalability of the operations function

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience leading customer servicing, collections or lending operations teams within a consumer lending, personal lending or asset finance environment
• Experience working within a non-bank lender or regulated consumer credit environment
• Strong understanding of personal lending, asset finance and other regulated consumer credit products
• Demonstrated experience managing onshore and offshore operations teams
• Sound knowledge of customer outcomes, complaints handling, hardship processes and regulatory obligations
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop and influence high-performing teams
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to drive operational efficiency and change in a fast-paced environment
