Your New RoleAs a Level 2/3 Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer, you will act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues while supporting and administering cloud and on-premises infrastructure. You will provide technical expertise across Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, and endpoint technologies, while contributing to ongoing infrastructure improvements and project initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing Level 2 and Level 3 support across infrastructure, cloud, and end-user technologies.
- Administering Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, and Entra ID.
- Supporting and maintaining Azure environments and networking components.
- Managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP services.
- Troubleshooting complex infrastructure, connectivity, and user-related issues.
- Performing patching, upgrades, maintenance, and security initiatives.
- Supporting infrastructure and cloud-related projects.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Engaging with vendors and internal stakeholders to deliver technology improvements.
- Strong experience in a Level 2/3 Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role.
- Proven Microsoft 365 administration experience.
- Hands-on Azure administration experience.
- Experience supporting Azure networking components including Virtual Networks, VPN Gateways, Network Security Groups, and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Strong Windows Server administration skills.
- Active Directory and Group Policy management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and end-user issues.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, Microsoft 365, Security, or Infrastructure).
- Experience with Intune and endpoint management.
- Exposure to cyber security best practices.
- Virtualisation technology experience.
- Backup and disaster recovery experience.
- Exposure to a modern Microsoft cloud environment.
