Key Responsibilities
Financial Control & Reporting
- Lead the global financial accounting and controllership function across multiple international entities.
- Oversee month-end, half-year, and year-end reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with reporting standards.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting prepared by regional finance teams.
- Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and statutory reporting requirements.
- Partner with external auditors and coordinate audit deliverables across global operations.
- Maintain and strengthen financial controls, governance frameworks, and accounting policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance professionals across multiple regions and time zones.
- Foster collaboration between finance teams and key business stakeholders.
- Support senior leadership with financial insights, reporting, and presentations for governance committees and executive stakeholders.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Oversee corporate tax and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external tax advisors and specialist consultants.
- Support regional finance teams with local tax requirements and compliance obligations.
- Ensure transfer pricing arrangements and revenue accounting processes remain compliant and effective.
- Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Drive automation, standardisation, and best-practice financial controls across the organisation.
- Support finance transformation initiatives and system enhancements.
You are a technically strong finance professional with proven leadership experience in complex, multinational environments. You enjoy working across diverse teams, building strong stakeholder relationships, and delivering high-quality financial outcomes.
Experience & Qualifications
- CA or CPA qualified.
- Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years' experience in financial control, financial accounting, or controllership roles.
- Experience within a listed, multinational, or complex corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/AASB accounting standards and statutory reporting requirements.
- Practical understanding of corporate tax, GST, VAT, and broader international tax considerations.
- Demonstrated experience managing geographically dispersed finance teams.
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems capability.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
