We are partnering with a leading healthcare services organisation undergoing significant transformation and growth. As part of this journey, they are seeking an experienced Finance Analyst to provide support during a six-month project, helping to drive financial planning, performance analysis, and business insights across the organisation.
The Role
Reporting to the FP&A manager, this role is a critical position to provide operational support within the finance team:
- Optimise operational cost structures by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and business performance.
- Analyse operational and financial data to identify key business drivers, labour KPIs, workforce trends, and cost optimisation opportunities.
- Prepare monthly management reports, providing insightful variance analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to drive accurate financial performance and strategic outcomes.
- Review and automate financial reporting, modelling, and forecasting processes to improve efficiency and reduce reporting cycle times.
- Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for operational leaders and non-financial stakeholders.
- Partner with leaders across Allied Health teams to strengthen financial literacy, improve performance visibility, and support informed business decisions.
Your Skills & Experience
- Proven analytical capability with a strong track record in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial modelling, data analytics, and business performance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. TechnologyOne, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Power BI, with the ability to develop dashboards, automate reporting, and generate actionable business insights.
- Experience in the not-for-profit, healthcare, or other high-volume service environments with complex operational and margin management challenges is highly regarded.
