A growing IT & Security Solutions Provider in Melbourne's South-East requires an IT Operations Technician for a permanent opportunity commencing ASAP. The company promotes a collaborative and supportive work environment, offering exposure to leading technologies and flexible working arrangements.
Your new role
Within this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for:
- Providing 1st & 2nd level remote and onsite IT support for clients.
- Supporting a broad range of clients to resolve IT issues within the Helpdesk.
- Performing technical support of servers, network and hardware.
- Assisting with the delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Delivering a high level of customer service and communication.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience of providing level 1st & 2nd IT support.
- Sound knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Windows Server, Office 365, Exchange, Intune, Azure, Veeam, VMware / Hyper-V and Network troubleshooting.
- Highly developed troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience working in a Managed Service Provider or Consultancy is highly regarded.
- A tertiary education in Information Technology as well as Azure, Microsoft, Cisco and ITIL certifications are beneficial.
- A current driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
