An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Tax Specialist to join a growing and client-focused accounting firm based in Robina. This role is suited to a technically strong taxation professional who enjoys working closely with clients, providing proactive advice, and developing tailored tax strategies across a diverse portfolio.Managing a broad client base of several hundred clients, you will play a key role in delivering high-level taxation, compliance, and advisory services while building strong, trusted relationships.
Your new role
- Provide expert advice on Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), including compliance and advisory matters.
- Deliver EOFY tax planning and strategic taxation advice to clients.
- Advise clients on company and trust structures, tax implications, and business strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve tax outcomes and implement effective tax planning initiatives.
- Manage and review complex taxation matters across a varied client portfolio.
- Work closely with business owners and stakeholders to provide commercial and proactive tax advice.
- Keep up to date with legislative changes and communicate impacts to clients.
- Proven experience in a taxation-focused accounting role.
- Strong technical knowledge of FBT, company and trust taxation, and tax advisory services.
- Experience providing strategic tax planning and business advisory support.
- Ability to manage a large and diverse client portfolio.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Proactive, commercially minded, and client-focused approach.
- Permanent position with a respected and growing firm.
- Salary package between $125000 - $150,000 + Super, depending on experience.
