The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the role will suit a dynamic, commercially minded and people-focused finance leader who is comfortable operating across both strategy and execution.
- Lead and uplift the finance function, driving a high-performing and commercially focused team.
- Provide strategic financial leadership and commercial insight to senior stakeholders.
- Lead financial oversight of a significant asset-management program, including asset lifecycle planning.
- Drive capital planning, funding and investment strategies across major initiatives.
- Provide financial leadership and governance across significant capital projects.
- Strengthen financial governance, risk management, controls and Board reporting.
- Lead finance transformation, including ERP optimisation, process improvement and digital initiatives.
- Leverage Power BI, data and analytics to improve financial reporting and decision-making.
- Oversee statutory reporting, audit, financial controls and broader financial compliance.
- Build strong relationships across the organisation and take ownership of major strategic initiatives, driving meaningful change and continuous improvement.
Your Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance, with CA or CPA qualification
- Strong commercial and strategic capability.
- Experience within an asset-heavy, infrastructure, property, construction, services or similarly complex environment.
- Exposure to asset lifecycle management and capital planning.
- Experience working with Boards, senior executives and complex stakeholder groups.
- Strong governance, risk and financial reporting capability.
- Strong data and reporting capability, ideally including Power BI.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and uplift finance teams.
