For the Finance department in our companyState Street Bank International GmbH in Londonwe are looking for a Vice President Finance, Risk Infrastructure and Business Solutions (FRIBS) – Job ID 161148.
Define and lead execution on integrated business technology and data management solutions that optimize State Street's Regulatory Reporting capabilities; facilitate the timely, accurate and complete provision of Regulatory Reporting data and reporting in EMEA, leveraging global data sources in alignment with BCBS239 principles
Drive the ongoing development of key systems as a Product Owner; working in close partnership with IT teams to deliver strategic and sustainable solutions
Manage a team of business analysts, and provide leadership to that team; act as thought leader for business functional and data solution design
Manage a team of project managers, actively coordinate project activities necessary for the timely execution of requirements with IT and business PMO functions
Direct the preparation and execution of comprehensive end to end user testing
Negotiate and resolve conflicts among and between program stakeholders and project teams; proactively respond to and remediate issues raised by both internal and external stakeholders and oversight control functions
Contribute to the business architecture design and data strategy using expertise in Regulatory Reporting functional needs, technology and data management leading practices
Education, Experience and Skills
Completed Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Information Management, Finance or related fields
Extensive years of Financial Services Industry experience
Independent, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of Financial Regulatory Reporting in the German banking sector and across EMEA more widely
In depth knowledge of sound data management practices within the Financial Services industry
Fluency in English and German
Experience in building and leading a high performing team of Project Managers and Business Analysts
Proven track record as a team leader and collaborator; strong leadership and organizational awareness with ability to facilitate and resolve conflict
Demonstrable success as a change agent that possesses both superior relationship management and influencing skills across all levels of an organization
Proven track record of collaborating effectively with IT teams as well as leading large, complex projects with both Agile and Waterfall frameworks
