bcIMC is seeking a permanent full-time Infrastructure Services Supervisor in Victoria, B.C., to oversee a team of infrastructure services technicians while ensuring appropriate customer support service levels are met, processes and procedures are followed, and service delivery excellence is provided. This is a hands-on technical position that requires the ability to actively participate in resolving service desk tickets, overseeing day-to-day help desk operations, supervise technicians, and act as an expert-level point of contact in the supervision of the technicians. The Information Technology Department is responsible for developing technology solutions that contribute to the achievement of bcIMC’s mission and long-term goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have:

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science with a minimum of 3 years’ demonstrated supervisory experience and 5 years’ service desk experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

• Demonstrated expertise in ITIL best practices, ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and proven ability to work within a team environment

• Exceptional communication, problem solving and customer service skills

• High level of proficiency in computer hardware and software with a passion for technology and customer support

• Familiarity with project management methodology

Preferred:

• Certification in Microsoft desktop and server

• Knowledge of the ServiceNow ticket management platform
